The perfect sweater. Designed by me (makena :)) in LA and produced in small batches in collaboration with a family-owned artisan workshop in Lima, PERU.
Unisex shape with signature GF silhouette and a natural drape.

• Color: Cream

• Fit: Unisex, boxy fit with a hem that hits just below the waist.

  • Men- order your usual size. Women- size down if you prefer a closer fit.

  • Carolina wearing size M. Daniel wearing size L.

• Fiber: 100% Tangüis cotton

  • Tangüis cotton is a heritage Peruvian fiber grown in coastal valleys. Known for its strength, softness, and long-staple length. It’s breathable, durable, and gets softer with every wear.

• Care: Hand wash cold, lay flat dry, store folded

• Extended Care Instructions: To preserve its natural shape and drape, hand wash gently in cool water with mild soap or a pH-neutral detergent. Avoid twisting or wringing; press excess water out with a towel and lay flat to dry. Iron on low heat if needed, or steam lightly to restore the knit’s structure. You can also dry clean occasionally for convenience. Store folded, not hung. Tangüis rarely pills, but if it does, gently remove fuzz with a sweater stone — not a razor.
